Scholar

Transformation and action are dependent on not only reflection, but reflexivity. I recognize the role of self in research and how it can open up opportunities for creative and personal transformations. The best way to further reflexivity and to engage in constant progress is to be a reflective scholar, always learning in order to become a more effective educator. I believe that effective teaching requires reflection paired with action, which is why I practice scholarship and research in both the fields of accessible education and theatre.
